Join us as we rewrite the rules of Tactile Cueing
If your go-to hands-on cueing is designed to place a client’s position or stop a client from doing something, it’s time for a reframe.
This Fall, join us for a deep dive into tactile cueing that prioritizes movement over restriction. In this workshop, we are moving away from the "fix-it" mentality. Instead, we’ll explore how to use touch as a roadmap, showing the client’s body where it can go and how it can get there.
You’ll learn how to deliver tactile cues that a client’s nervous system can actually absorb, process, and learn from. Help your clients feel the movement from the inside out, creating lasting neuromuscular changes rather than temporary, forced alignment.
You will learn how less "holding them in place," and more letting them move can change your clients movement and your teaching in a profound way. Feel more confident in how and when you use tactile touch.
Learn exercises to use with clients when they need assistance before being able to do traditional Pilates, “pre-Pilates”, to work through injuries, or complement a traditional practice.
In this workshop:
Exercises to use with clients who are currently unable to do much of a classic repertoire
Beneficial exercises that work alongside a Pilates session
Building blocks to connect functional movement exercises to Pilates sessions
4 NPCP CEC’s available
$225
“Simple Teaching Makes Clients Work Harder”
When your teaching is clear and simple, clients don’t disengage—they step up.
In this group mentoring workshop, we’ll explore how simplifying your cueing actually creates more work, more ownership, and deeper understanding for your clients. When cues aren’t layered with excess information, clients have the space to feel, process, and connect the dots for themselves.
You’ll learn how to:
Strip cues down to what truly matters
Empower clients to problem-solve within their own bodies
Give clients time to figure it out instead of asking,
“Why am I doing this?” or “Where should I feel this?”
Cue in a way that speaks directly to clients—clearly, confidently, and in language they understand
This workshop is about teaching smarter, not louder.
It’s about trusting the work, trusting the client, and trusting yourself as the teacher.
Walk away with more confidence, more clarity, and cueing that lands—every time.
This month’s Group Mentoring Program topic is Key Concepts- What does it take to get your client to a certain movement? Something as simple as understanding Elephant to having the tools/connections in their body to do inversions?
Every exercise in the work of Joseph Pilates is full body but each has 3 main key concepts that show a movement pattern for your client. How do you see where you need to go based on this?
This workshop will change how you look at your session with your client!

We want to help teachers come back to the basics, thinking about what we are asking the client to do. Simply state what we want the client to do without using memorized and outdated cues. Learn how the exercises affect the anatomy in movement to more accurately cue what is needing to happen in each exercise.
What are we asking the client to do?
What is anatomically occurring in the exercise: anatomy in motion?
What is the client potentially missing, and what simple direction might help them achieve it?
In this workshop you will learn to :
Simplify the practice of cueing to become more efficient and effective.
Eliminate outdated cues that have become popular jargon.
Understand the purpose of an exercise in order to cue accurately.
Increase awareness of anatomy in motion, how the body moves throughout an exercise to find cues that are not unintentionally counteracting what is occurring in the movement. (ex looking down in extension)
Increase awareness of common cues that are either inappropriate, ineffective, or harmful.
Prerequisites: Open to all Pilates teachers who have completed 450 hours of Pilates teacher training. Students still in a Teacher Training Program can attend workshop with written approval from the Director of their Training Program.
A Zoom link will be sent and the recording available for 30 days
4 CEC’s available
